He was brought to the facility earlier this year under the court-ordered Marchman Act, which provides emergency assistance and temporary detention to people in need of substance abuse assessment and treatment in the state of Florida, the director told police.
Margera did not appear to harm himself or others, but staff feared he left the facility while under a court order.
The director of the establishment could not provide more information on the fate of Margera and the police could not find him.
On Tuesday, Margera posted a photo of himself and another man, whom he claimed was his new booze anonymous godfather.
Margera, who was a professional skateboarder, often posts videos of his skateboarding and his family on Instagram.
